Quella casa nel bosco, scritto da Joss Whedon e da Drew Goddard, è uno dei miei film preferiti degli ultimi anni. Avevo già letto la novellizzazione (The Cabin in the Woods: The Official Movie Novelization di Tim Lebbon) che però non mi ha entusiasmato... mancava la parte visiva che, in questo volume, hanno un ruolo predominante.
Interviste con i due autori e con i creatori dei vari mostri, brevi quelle agli attori, che avrebbero meritato più spazio, e la sceneggiatura completa.
Un compendio sulla creazione del mito, sugli effetti speciali e una sirta di dichiarazione d'amore al genere horror.
Se avete amato il film, non potete farvi scappare il visual companion.
