In times of disaster people turn to God. But what if they no longer believe in themselves?
Cardiff is recovering from a catastrophe. Torchwood find themselves up against the Disaster Recovery Committee – instead of putting the city back on its feet, it seems to be preparing for something worse. There’s a conspiracy to be exposed, a mythical monster becomes real, fights are breaking out over drinking water, and Jack Harkness is getting ready for the end of the world.

L'azione riprende dalla catastrofe prodotta al termine del secondo box set.
Seguendo le peregrinazioni di una madre alla ricerca del figlio disperso ci viene raccontato cosa è successo a Cardiff e ai superstiti di Torchwood.
Ritroviamo anche Orr, in una nuova veste e con nuove potenzialità.
6.10 ScrapeJane by Robin Bell
Apparente stand alone con.Mr Colchester e NG alle prese con una leggenda metropolitana un po' troppo reale.
In realtà vediamo come le intenzioni del Dio arrivato a inizio stagione si confermano poco simpatiche per la Terra.
6.11 Day Zero by Tim Foley
Con la compromissione della riserva di acqua, la situazione a Cardiff si fa esplosiva e basta poco per scoccare la scintilla.
Orr e Ng cercano di resistere al piano di Dio, mentre i superstiti di Torchwood cercano di calmare le acque.
Ma, davanti al caos, il Comitato e Andy non si fermano davanti a nulla... come mettere dietro le sbarre Dio in persona.
6.12 Thoughts and Prayers by James Goss
La fine del mondo è (di nuovo) vicina.
I vari componenti di Torchwood si ritrovano alla fine davanti alla frattura, mentre il Comitato (fil rouge delle due stagioni e di molti audio del main range) sta per fare un ingresso trionfale nella nostra dimensione.
Tra rivelazioni e controcomplotti, i nostri riescono (di nuovo) a salvare tutti... prendendosi comunque la colpa del caos provocato.
Il finale lascia qualche filo aperto e una discreta voglia di nuova stagione.
Nel complesso la sesta stagione si è rivelata più intrigante della precedente, che aveva messo le basi per i fatti narrati in questa.
I vari personaggi hanno trovato la loro voce e non si sente la mancanza del team storico. La fidelizzazione è completa, adesso devono regalarci una settima stagione.
