Adoro Yvonne e l'interpretazione di Tracy-Ann Oberman è perfetta, così come Gareth David-Lloyd nei panni di Ianto Jones. Siamo in un periodo anteriore all'attacco combinato di Cybermen e Dalek, quando tutto andava bene... sempre considerando che stiamo parlando di Torchwood.

La prima parte è introduttiva, seguiamo l'inserimento di un nuovo elemento nel gruppo di Torchwood e Sophie Winkleman interpreta la novellina Rachel Allan in maniera molto credibile, tanto che il passaggio alla seconda parte della storia risulta una sorpesa ben giocata.
Anche se, ammettendolo, gli scenari a disposizione non erano tanti.

Seconda parte, più azione e più carneficine... dopo tutto siamo a Torchwood e, seguendo Ianto nelle peripezie del giorno di team building sul campo, capiamo perché non era così contento di andare per brughiere nell'episodio "Countrycide" della serie tv.
Le cose si complicano, come è giusto che sia in una seconda parte di tre, ma non vi dirò come...

... basta che sappiate che, per guidare Torchwood (non importa il numero) serve stile. Indubbiamente una dote posseduta da tutti i capi di sezione che abbiamo conosciuto.
Finale risolutivo, in maniera brillantemente prevedibile. Ma, dopo tutto, sappiamo quale sarà la situazione all'interno di Torchwood One appena prima della sua fine e, essendo questo un prequel, non poteva finire diversamente.
La serie audio di Torchwood, tra alti e bassi, si sta confermando un ottimo prodotto... a volte migliore dell'originale video.
